THE MAISON’S FIRST SKINCARE TREATMENT, NUTRIX, ARRIVED IN 1936.
It was a resoundingly successful, nourishing cream with excep- tional regenerative capabilities. It was used to protect against the sun, plant stings, mosqui- to bites, cracked skin and bi- ting cold. It healed mild wounds and soothed babies’ diaper rash. Even the British Minister of Defense recommended Nutrix as the only cream remedy in the event of nuclear attack!

During the war, customers lined up outside the Lancôme boutique with empty jars of Nutrix in their hands. Even in hard times, the Maison never compromised on the quality of its products!
