PERFUMING A BLOTTER
Prepare two blotters (one for your client and one for you to share in her discovery).
Point them downward and quickly spray two or three times, from approximately 20cm. [or 8 inches] away. Be sure to spray the blotters on their large sides.
Do it lightly, never wet!
Now wave them several times across the fragrant cloud and tell your client about the notes and what they do, before handing her a blotter and inhaling the other to experience the fragrance with her.
Be alert to your client's reactions, so you can respond more intuitively.
P.S. Don't forget to slip the used blotters into a tissue at the end of the demonstration for disposal.
