Rose essential oil is able to reinforce the skin’s vital revitalizing processes by acting on chronic inflammation, free radicals (oxidation) and skin repair.
The rose extracts used by Lancôme are:
• damask rose (INCI: rosa damascena flower) Extracted through a cold distillation process.
Lancôme Research has identified a specific cold distillate of Damask rose (rosa dasmacena) capable of aiding the skin’s vital revitalizing processes by acting on chronic inflammation, free radicals (oxidation) and skin repair.
• rosa centifolia extract
(INCI: rosa centifolia f lower extract)
A biotechnological active ingredient with extraordinary regenerating potential.
• rosa gallica (INCI: rosa gallica flower extract) Used for its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties.
• rosehip extract (INCI: rosa canina fruit oil) Used for its nourishing, abilities.
• rose water (INCI: rose water)
Used to hydrate, soothe and cool skin. Also credited with anti-bacterial properties.
rosehip seed oil (INCI: rosa canina fruit oil) See rose extract.
rosemary leaf oil
(INCI: rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary))
It helps to stimulate the cell turnover.
rye seed extract
(INCI: secale cereale (rye) seed extract)
